Micro-purchases: The aggregate dollar amount is $50,000 or less. Micro-Purchases may be awarded without soliciting competitive price or rate quotations if the University considers the price to be reasonable based on research, experience, purchase history or other information and documents it files accordingly.
Simplified Acquisitions: The aggregate dollar amount is between $50,000 and $150,000. Price or rate quotations muct be obtained from at least two (2) qualified sources (including selected supplier).
